Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - A Dance of Masks

Just perfect!

A wonderful conclusion to a beautiful and epic story. The new content is just right, not too much or too little, with wonderful voice acting and many touching and funny moments. The new classes are great and the added mythic content is much appreciated (even if I personally would have preferred their patching up the Golden Dragon path)! This cements WoTR's status as one of the greatest modern CRPGs, and I heartily recommend it to everyone.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Enhanced Edition

Thank you, Owlcat!

What a glorious game this is. I held off buying at first due to fear of bugs, but it runs fine on my 2021 MacBook Air and I've played for 100+ hours with only a few issues. The story is great, and for me it treads that perfect line between classic heroic fantasy and the more trope-subverting, His Dark Materials style, so you can lean either way depending on your inclinations. While there is a clunky line of dialogue here and there the writing is excellent. Best of all the characters, especially the villains really feel as if they have their own personalities and agendas, rather than simply doing what the story requires of them. The gameplay brings my childhood to life, with obvious nods to Baldur's Gate and Heroes of Might and Magic but with notes of Planescape, Neverwinter Nights, and even Diablo as well. Character creation and optimization is incredibly addictive. A game this ambitious is bound to have some issues, and there were moments both with WoTR and the original Kingmaker that left me quite frustrated in terms of quest design, encounter design and yes, bugs, but overall I've had a blast. Keep up the good work!
