Players of Piranha Bytes games will feel very at home. It is not *quite* the same thing, but a lot of things are reminiscent. I'd argue a lot of things are more polished compared to your typical Gothic-like. Core differences are it being first-person and non-fantasy (the existence of functional Alchemy aside). But in order to not confuse and frighten you too much, the combat system is delightfully weird :D
