If you're not into beta testing games, you should wait a bit before buying Cyberpunk 2077. The game has been released, with quite a few bugs. Sometimes I can't run, sometimes I can't sprint, sometimes a quest gets stuck, sometimes stuff is floating in mid air. All bugs I've also experienced when playing GTA V, Skyrim, Fallout 4 or other open world games... With that said, and inspite of all the bugs - this games is awesome! It is - or atleast will be - every bit as good as Witcher 3. The stories are well written, the acting is the best I've ever seen, graphics are gorgeous, sound and music is soo good, and the world - Omg the world. The game has atmosphere like no other I've tried. (And yeah you can pet the cat) But it doesn't stop there. I find myself wandering or driving around in this amazing world, trying to take it all in.
I just love the atmosphere of this game. An open world, steam-punk'ish, submarine sailing game. This was love at first sight! <3 The game looks great. The submarines are gorgeously made with high attention to detail, and the underwater world looks beautiful and enticing. The 2D crew-management/looting screens look cool, and the transistions between 3D and 2D make this change believable. The crew-management system is well implementet, and has huge impact on how well your submarine functions. The soundtrack is emmersive and captivating. And the ambient sound of being under water is very well made - especially with a headset on - you really get the feel, of being under water. Overall the controls are fine. They have to be learned and practised. - The ability to keep your heading by holding the throttle up key - is essential for playing the game. I've encountered small bugs and glitches - None of them game breaking - And none that can't be fixed, with an update or two. Overall a great and original new game with a ridiculously low pricetag. :-D
