Harvester

A Clunky, Unpolished Mess

Harvester has some good points to it. Mostly the acting and dialogue are really fun to watch. Outside of that though, it's a really tough sell for me. The frequent crashing near the end game, poorly implemented combat, general lack of pacing, frequently stupid puzzle logic, incoherent message, horrible combat, broken events (managed to sequencebreak on the 3rd day without even trying), did I mention how bad the combat is? My game bugged and I couldn't even kill the wasp woman. The FMV is really fun but ultimately makes you question why there is as much "game" in this game at all when you'd have more fun just watching someone else play it. Some of the worst level layouts in adventure gaming. Skip this unless you are incredibly masochistic, just watch a cutscene compilation or longplay instead and you will have more fun.

Unpacking

Super Solid!

This game is so wonderful and cute, telling the story of someone's life through the evolving nature of their possessions. It is relatable, cute, and really well made. My only caveat is that the relative lack of content for a 20$ game might turn some people off. There are 8 relatively short levels, and that's neither here nor there but if that doesn't appeal to you then maybe wait for a sale if you're otherwise interested. I personally played it on gamepass and probably wouldn't have played it otherwise. However, if you're the kind of person that loves building dioramas and playing around with photo-modes there is certainly more than enough on offer here. Overall a well made, polished game that I seriously recommend to any who enjoy cuter, more chill, story-based indie games.

Hell Yeah Pardner!

I have never played an RTT game before this, but this is one of the finest games I have played in years. It's nice to play something that has meaty mechanics and replayability in mind, and also manages to be effectively bloatless. The graphics aren't anything to sneeze at either, Mimimi makes Unity look a hell of a lot better than most Unreal games. Combine those aspects with a stellar score and great voice acting, and you get a fun, tactical stealth game that oozes with charm. Can't recommend this enough.

Foundation

Super solid citybuilder!

Its a little rough around the edges, but I have had a ton of fun with Foundations. It is more in the Cities Skylines camp of Zen Builders, and the great feature of this one is its organic pathing and such! The ability to build large works like churches and castles is really appreciated too. Good game overall, excited to see where it goes.

极乐迪斯科

cRPG Brilliance

Absolutely a joy to move through. The writing is emotional, creative, and is supported by beautiful graphics. A bunch of unique sidequests allow you to express the main character however you want, while slowly working towards solving the crime. The environments in this game leave me with a lot of feelings, and that's precisely what I wanted from this game. I *did* have some stability problems, but I chalk that up to using windows 8.1 more than anything else. Truly wonderful cRPG game that gives me hope for the future of the genre.

Absolver

Fun!

I have really enjoyed my time so far in Absolver. It's combat is fun and unique, and I don't even like fighting games. I beat the story mode in about 5 hours, but haven't had the chance to touch online yet (thanks servers). Environments are wonderfully breathed to life, fighting is fluid, music is excellent and fitting, overall it''s quite good.
