A Plague Tale: Innocence

You know this game has a DLC?

...because I didn't, and now that I do... I couldn't care less about it. :) Don't get me wrong, the 3 outfits are lovely and the DLC says exactly what it contains, no overselling, and the price is modest at best. AND YET I decided to buy it - why would I? Well, not for what it is, of course, but rather to show that I care about the game - I bought it, like, 75% off, having heard some positive things about it but not expecting much. Boy, was it suprising when I proceeded to fall in love with this small and yet so lovingly crafted experience, janky at times but captivating for the whole run. A Plague Tale: Innocence is not the best game in any category (though solid in most, in my humble opinion) but the attention to constructing a very defined experience has hit JUST the right notes with me. This might not be a useful opinion piece if You are considering buying it, considering that so far I wrote nothing of substance (and it's staying this way, I ain't going critical here after giving 5 stars :b), howewer I want You to know this: if ANY aspect of this game caught Your attention - give it a try. You might enjoy it, you might not (than it's modest lenght will be in Your favor); but maybe, just maybe, You will feel the magic of this world, so grim and dark, and yet so full of hope and determination for better tomorrow - exactly what I felt when playing this. :) So, why did I brought ut that DLC thing earlier? As I said already, I got the game cheap, so for me it was a way to symbolically pay for it a little more, and more importantly to say Thank You to developers at Asobo Studio. So, this time directly, Thank You Devs and everyone involved in production, for delivering a game that deeply resonated with me. I wouldn't dare asking for a sequel of any kind, ya'll are surely busy, but if anything was to happen... well, all I'm saying is that one customer wouldn't be waiting for 75% discount this time. ;)
