I so badly want to give this 5 stars, I'm currently working on 4 with the 2 big mods and it's absolutely amazing! even for todays standards. Swat 3 on the other hand just simply wont work :( I've tried all the fixes and it's just made me incredibly frustrated. I get about a 4 or 5 cycles of my desktop changing resolutions and thats the end of it. I've downloaded the movies fix, voodoo, and a few other odd things here and there. I'm sure its an awesome game but you're taking a chance on this one. Good Luck!
The combat is good but the on foot battles get quite boring after the first raid or ship boarding. If you like mount and blade you might like this. The devs haven't abandoned it but they are working verrrry slowly on it.
I'm really enjoying this title. I've been searching for a good pirate game since binge watching Black Sails and this is hitting that satisfaction for me. I just wish the devs would give more attention to the gog version.

get it whether you gotta wait for a sale or what have you, it's totally worth it just to have the option to make a tiefling. It's like having the Players Handbook and not being able to play a certain class because its locked and now you want to play it because you cant.
when I was about 12 years old, this game made me so mad I took it out of my playstation broke it in half and threw it out my second story bedroom lol ahhh good times. Man I loved this game though, it was an awesome sort of hack and slash around one of the coolest movies.
This game is awesome! even today. If you grew up on Doom or Wolfenstien and never played this title you're absolutely going to fall in love with this title! its like doom meets daggerfall of the sorts. A feel of almost open world for that era of gaming I just cant believe I ever missed this title or even heard of it! its great and for 10 bucks or on sale its definitely worth to grab to add to the collection.
Its sad to see all the poor reviews on steam and such bc of the bad release. Reviews thatll most likely be stuck there for ages to come. I saw the game wasnt doing great and had bought it and just held on to it. Gave them a couple months then jumped in and havent had a single problem. I'm in love with this game as much as I am with BG, Icewind, & PoE I+II. This is a title like poe where I'll continue to come back because I'm just so invested in the story and the way everything plays. The devs are offering free content to the game plus reasonable priced content, it'sa good middle ground if you ask me. If you love D&D and you cant find the time or the people to play the TTRPG get this you wont regret it. Owlcat keep up the great work!

I personally havent had any issues but I know how the crowd for these kinds of games can be and I really dont want the company to abandon the project because everyone was so upset about something really ridiculous, being impatient instead of supporting them, or because it didnt play exactly like the ttrpg which is impossible. Making this stuffs hard, instead of going and leaving a 2 star review and complaining how you had issues or it didnt play like you wanted to how about going and submitting a ticket to them in a calm manner and help support it by informing these issues instead of whinning about them.
I had been on the edge about this game for some time. Im glad I bought it I'm absolutely hooked! its hardcore, its gritty, its emotional, and its captivating. I usually dont have too much fun with games that simulate having to eat, sleep, all that jazz but this game executes it perfectly. I've been craving that medieval era lately and this just pleased every bit of that craving. I'm running this game on a msi gv62 8rd and its going pretty good. I'm not getting more than 60fps but ive not had any issues with the 4 or so hours I've already invested. You guys killed it with this game.
