Deep Sky Derelicts: Definitive Edition

Too Repetitive

[Cons] --"Researchers have uncovered a new group of derelicts ..." -Too much RNG. (Thank goodness there are no microtransactions) --Crafting RNG. Just give the ability or not -No storage to save unique items -Side Quests are mostly worthless fetch x items -Enemy hitboxes overlap too much. It is hard to target specific enemies. Necessary to optimize adjacent damage which requires targeting the middle enemy. -Not enough skill check story scenarios. It's mostly delegated to just repetitive room traps -No alternative ending [Pros] ++A team of Full Automatic Fire backed by high Critical Hit bonuses Recommendation 1: Aanpsx's Deep Sky Derelicts table on Fearless to circumvent the RNG and just give yourself max stats roll Recommendation 2: play Iratus: Lord of the Dead for a comparable but better experience

Diluvion: Resubmerged

A Barren Wasteland Underwater...

-The metallic text sound effect is annoying -Poor draw distance -Only capable of looting decrepit manmade locations; can't mine. You'd think if humanity is pushed underwater there would be heavy demand for real estate -No functioning map -The gameplay choice of constantly switching between 3D and 2D creates disorientation when trying to continue traveling +Good 3D aesthetic; passable 2D
