A great modern Metroidvania, with compelling characters and an interesting story exploring the Nordic Myths, served by stunning graphics and audio. I haven't played the orignials and I don't feel like I'm missing anything, but the game is certainly good enough that I might. The combat is dfficult, complex a little frustrating at times, but certainly has a depth that I have yet to explore entirely.
