The game tells a story of an unconventional friendship between a human girl and a Zombie boy. Together they have some puzzles to solve on their way. It took me five hours to finish it. The puzzles are low to medium difficulty but creative and very fun to solve. Beautiful graphics and awesome soundtrack. All in all very atmospheric. 🥰 The most annoying thing is the amount of softlocks. If you want to explore every corner, it'll happen very often that you can't move your character anymore. Loading the last checkpoint is the way to go then. Let's hope they'll fix that issue in a future patch.
Just like the previous game from DigiTales (Lacuna), Between Horizons comes with a very great story where it's up to you (and your skills) how it ends. I had a great time working on the different cases. But since I didn't solve everything right, I'll definitely play it again for another ending. :) The more detailed graphics compared to Lacuna are great and the soundtrack is fantastic and fits perfectly. So if you like a very good detective game, this one is for you!
