I was a little hesitant to dip my toe into this one as I don't do well with horror games, but despite it being almost 2spooky4me, the introduction had me completely hooked. Just about every facet of this game is finely honed, from the gorgeous art direction of art deco meets industrial sci-fi, to the intelligent level design that encourages and rewards exploration. I could write an essay on the meticulous craftsmanship of this title, but the tl;dr: fans of sci-fi, survival, creative gameplay, exploration - get this game!
EoC is a sequel in name only. Besides similar ship operation mechanics and lore, there's nothing else alike. This is not a linear mission based game. It's a free-roaming, open-world system, without any real sense of objective. Some people enjoy exactly this sort of experience, and if you are one of these, you should have a blast with this game.
