Apparently I played for roughly 20 hours according to GOG. I don't think I even scratched the surface of this game but I will tell you my experience. The game is FULL of beginner's trap. You will feel like you are hitting a brick wall for first 5 or 6 hours. Your party will level up after the tutorial. DON'T LEVEL UP YOUR CHARACTERS. Instead, leave the town, return to the town, and purchase a mercinary at a far more reasonable price. If you level up before purchasing a mercinary, you will not be able to afford it ever. Having an extra party member early should be a wonderful experience. I completely missed out on that. Right after the tutorial, one of the NPCs will give you a quest about Spider Cave. DON'T GO THERE. In fact, don't go to ANY areas near the first inn. Enemies there will be massively over powered and will kill your party immediately. Instead, go further south because . . some how enemies located further away from your starting location are far more appropriately leveld for your grinding. The game is brutally difficult in many areas and you will be forced to experiment with different spells, t actics, etc. After 5 or 6 hours of frustration, you will start to get the game. You will be having pleasant experience around 10 hour mark. Then the game throws Baron management at you. Apparently I am a bad Baron and my estate is spiraling downward because I have no idea what I am doing and the game is terrible at tutorials. I probably have to restart the game or something. As far as I can tell the game's combat is excellent despite major flaws in the game. I do not recommend blind playing the game unlesss you are willing to play in the lowest difficulty.

While I haven't purchased it in GOG, I have played it on my Steam account many months ago. For fans of card games, it is surprisingly deep. The game offers surprising number of deck types for you to experiment with, and diverse challenging AIs (and a couple downright unfair). The game is very well paced, giving you enough cards to progress without excessive grinding . . unlike many MANY other card games out there. (Hearthstone, Clash of Dragons, Magic Duels, etc . .) My only complaint is that the game doesn't offer multiplayer, but then again, it is only $4 for roughly 8~10 hour single player mode. I have spent more than 15 hours completing all the Steam Achievements and experimenting decks. If you are considering spending few bucks on Hearthstone or other card games, I recommend you rather spend your money on this game. You won't regret it.

If you are SWERY fan, you probably should be aware there are some port problems. For those who are not aware who SWERY is, the game is not mechanically competent. The game's strength lies entirely on narration. The plot of the game centers around a character named 'David Young' a detective who lost his wife to a criminal related incident. He only has two clues to find who killed his wife : initial D whispered by his wife and Real Blood, which was found in her corpse. All of the characters are insane. From safety crazy Deborah, 'fashion designer' Duncan & 'Sukey' (totally not a mannequin) you will be eager to learn more about them. So, what about the gameplay? The game, sadly, fails expectation in the gameplay department. The game put plenty of 'credits' you can click to pick up. The credits can be spent on food, which replenishes your stamina, vision, life, and cosmetic options. I appreciate the game has quite extensive cosmetic options, BUT random 'credits' scattered around and appearing in the cutscenes as well, detracted from the game at least for me. Furthermore, most of the minigames are . . downright terrible. One of them is basically catch the fruit flash game except worse! HOW?!? How is that possible!? Lastly, the PC port is bit shoddy. No, it isn't Dark Souls level, but there are some frame rate and resolution issues. There are moments in the game which tanks frame rate for some reason. I tried to reduce the resolution to improve frame rate, other options didn't fit in my screen. Despite all my complaints, I am giving the game 4/5. As you can see, this game isn't for everyone. I can't recommend the game if you are looking for mechanically competent experience. You will have a better experience in online flash game. However, if you are interested in whacky silly story with excellent narrative, go ahead.

It is a tactical turn-based infiltration game with rogue-lite elements (randomly generated levels, characters/items unlock, etc). It is similar to the latest X-com in many ways. The game provides variety of randomly generated mission sites, yet you can only do limited number of missions due to time limit. In a mission, you send 2-4 spies with different abilities to infiltrate and steal valuable objects and information. You peek through doors, observe guard patrol patterns, knock out guards and take their key cards, and hack droids to help you scout for couple of turns. After single game, you unlock more abilities and characters which will change up your next playthrough. Limited number of rewind in each level and excellent level generation, the game is all about tactics and your skill rather than RNG. If all this sounds interesting, you should know the game has one big flaw. The game is extremely short. Yes, the game is designed to be played multiple times but one playthrough lasts roughly 2 hours. Even though the game has great voice acting and animation, they quickly become stale. There is no 'multiple endings' or 'different mission scenarios.' Just higher difficulty options. There IS an endless mode, which I haven't checked out yet, but I doubt it has the same quality VA and animation as the main story mode. I hope Klei will bring an interesting update to this game to improve it. All that said, I am going to recommend at $18 price. I already played more than 6 hours of it, and I don't plan to stop soon.
