Many elements make this Visual Novel a good experience. Design from NPCs to cheerful surroundings made a great impression. You can also freely set up your experience to be more enjoyable with all the cool settings additions (for example, turning off pretty frustrating mini games). The main plot, with a nice mix of sex, goofiness, and even paranormal elements, can also be called a worthy element... until you reach the empty and sudden end. So sudden that you'll see the credits when technically the main character still has weeks of stay ahead in this area. It seems that xRedGames either lost track of time and woke up on deadline day for publishing or, in the blink of an eye, lost all the interest and ideas connected with story development. Many interesting threads remained unfinished, and a limited number of story choices (compared to different amazing games like "Being a DIK" or "Leap Of Faith") doesn't lead to too many different endings. Such a shame that the finish does not live up to HTH's potential. Possible solution? Proper DLC gives players the possibility to go through the whole summer, and possibly give us a cliffhanger/spoiler hinting that another season will come. Unfortunately, it seems very unlikely that's why, with all the advantages, "Helping The Hotties" should be labeled as a major disappointment.
As long as your main expectation from this game is a basic storyline whose goal is to be a background for fapping extravaganza with hot NPCs... you will be more or less disappointed. Still, someone's loss is someone's gain... that's why I have an amazing time with this Visual Novel. Don't get me wrong... Drifty hasn't forgotten about erotic flavour. You can have lots of well-detailed fun with the girls. However, what makes LOF an outstanding product is its well-balanced narration. You will see hilarious moments between main characters, funny pop culture references, and even scenes where you're observing breaking the fourth wall. At the same time, "Leap Of Faith" has surprisingly deep and touching moments, especially one with the author's heartbreaking real-life confession (don't worry, if you're not ready for this tearjerker experience, the game allows you to miss it). What's more, I highly recommend playing Leap Of Faith numerous times to see all the different endings, and turn on the official walkthrough with all bonus options to learn more about the whole game. To sum up, this game is a mesmerizing ode to friendship, true love, and compassion. Well done Mr. Drifty, and thank you so much for your amazing effort, which makes people leave better than they were when they entered your game!
