I've played Endless Sky for years. It's the most approachable space exploration game you will find. The simple controls make it very easy for beginners yet the vast amount of content keeps you coming back. You can start with a single little shuttle and build a massive, dominating fleet of warships. Or simply emass a fortune hauling freight. Great game.
I've played Port Royale 3 for a while but wanted to try out the original. It does not disappoint. i guess you'd call it 'good bones'. I see why this is everyone's favorite.
Great adaptation of a tabletop. Every playthrough is different. Great game.
