Dr. Pink Cake's 1st work, not as fine, definite in every aspects as his current works (Being DIK Season 1-2), still a gem and worth to buy and play if you like this genre.
Many contents in the 1st and in this 2nd season too, so worth the price. Apart from Leap of Faith, this is the best Visual Novel in Adult category so far yet. Sets the bar high in this genre, with nice writing/decent, fun to read story, great amazing soundtracks, & brilliant visual, well detailed and nice art style, also gameplay is well blended with not bad mini-games, sandbox/exploration mode. I just hope the developer, "Dr. Pink Cake" will realize, he should get some/more help, so players could get the next season a bit with less time gap than between Season 1-2 we had to wait... :)))
Mark my words, because this game has a potential to be on the top for a decade in the action RPG genre on PC or at least until CDPR can come out with their next title. It's already more than any another action RPG can offer but I'm sure like a good wine with time just getting better. All we needs just few more updates for the game to further polish & ofc. some sweet mods on PC would be cool too. I also hope the best about the bigger update in the future, & to get some brilliant DLCs too. And yep, even on my potato Gaming PC looks incredible, can't wait to add some mods too tho! (My config.:i72600k, 20GB RAM, 1TB SSD, & a GTX 1060 6GB since I wasn't able to get a 3060 yet. :P) I'm able to run smoothly, above 30 FPS the game between high-ultra settings so far yet in Full HD/1080p/1920x1080 res. I use the latest NVidia GeForce driver, which came out just last night.
QUICK REVIEW - ELEX Since this game just came out less than a days ago but I saw already has tons of cold & hot in the feedback / reviews, I decided to do my own quick review too. So, anyway this is ONLY (surprisingly) about the PC version. I dunno about the console versions but my short personal opinion & 1st impression about the PC version: just freaking EPIC! :) Thanks, Piranha Bytes & THQNordic to give us this solid RPG gem!^ ;) (I play currently the GOG version but just bought now on Steam, so I will be able to write a review there too.^^) Btw, looks nice, sound effects & music also great, the beginning of the story interesting & so on, I just really impressed. I think it's really a clear, true improvement since the GOTHIC games. No performance issue, I have solid 60FPS in Full HD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate & maxed out graphics. (My spec.: i7 2600k, 16GB RAM, SSD, GTX1060 6GB OC Edition) As a huge & good old fan of Gothic games, I'm really glad the guys just made this game! :) A little bit more detailed review coming later by me, now I must to go back to discover more from the world of ELEX. You have to play this game, maybe first 2 or 3 times before you can get all the rules, but after it's a lot of fun, really enjoyable, especially to play with friends just like the classic, board game version. But this digital version playable online with your friends, so the distance from your friends are no matter anymore if you wanna enjoy this type of fantasy adventure game together. Oh, & the design of this digital version really cool, high quality. ;) Also, if you want to play with your friends this game on LIVE, at the same place together, then don't forget, you can also can buy & get the traditional, physical, board game version of The Witcher Adventure Game! :)
