This game is a roguelite shmup packaged as a dungeon crawlering top-down shooter. The amount of items is staggering, the graphics and humor are charming, and the gameplay is mostly solid. The dungeon floor layout, item selection, enemies, etc. are all randomized. If you like shmups, you'll be right at home. If you don't, beware: this game is unforgiving. My primary criticism is that too many of the guns and items are too underpowered or gimmicky, which is a problem when the game can be incredibly stingy with the keys you need to open chests to acquire new weapons/items.
