SILKSONG IS REAL! IT'S OUT! & YOU CAN PLAY IT! After all these years of waiting, it lives up to the hype. The combat, environment, music, bosses, and progressions system all feel like an upgraded evolution of what you already loved in Hollow Knight. For a price tag as cheap as this in a market of $80/$90, you are definitely getting your money's worth.
It's a great game. I'm glad my first introduction to the series starts with a bang. The factions, world building, weapons, and enemies feel fully realized and lived in. One of the standout elements is the RPG choices and writing. I'm engrossed in these characters backstories and personalities. The gameplay has aged pretty well, and somehow it's more fun than Bethesda's newest titles. My only problem with this game is that the level design of the world is more restrictive than expected. I want to climb this mountain and explore. "Sorry, it's an invisible wall." That sucks, but overall, it's a minor hiccup in an incredible game.
