i own the cyberpunk 2007 limited edition x box one x including the game i dont wanna repeat what has been already said but here is what it is STUFF LIKE THIS HAPPENS, when you made 1 great game named the witcher 3 and THEN you think you are Rockstar Games Poland.. But it seems every year needs 1 big disappointment... 2018: Fallout 76 2019: GR Breakpoint 2020: Cyberpunk 2077 I hope that the people of CDPR understand that they didnt missused the trust of their customers.... nope... they nuked it from the orbit.
The Suffering is a good game and there are enough reviews here. i dont wanna repeat all the stuff. BUT i wanna give you a short story. I played that game when it came out on the X Box.... then i forgot about it Then i played Alan Wake Then a while later i played The Suffering again and i was like: waaaaaaait a moment..... :D So if you like Alan Wake and you wanna say where they maybe "stole" some of the Gameplay features... go for that game.
Sorry but this game is trash. Why? If you get rid of your nostalgia googles and child memories then you understand that games like Wolfenstein3D and Blake stone aged in a very, very bad way. I am tired of running through maze like levels, chasing keys and looking at very ugly textures. There is that sweet spot between ugly old graphics and good old graphics. Doom is on the good side, W3d and Blake Stone are on the ugly side. I played Blake Stone back in the days in the early 90s and even then i was disaapointed buy what it is. Get Doom, get Rise of the Triad Dark War and get Duke Nukem 3D if you like old school nostalgia.
So, there is the Crosshair.... there is the HUD... and then there is a black screen. Doesnt matter what graphic setting i tried. so it is unplayable for me.....
Since i joined GOG in early 2014 i was annoyed. A list of games NOT on this site annoyed me. This List is: Soldier of Fortune Shadow Ops Rainbow Six Rogue Spear Project IGI With SoF from the list we now get another gem from the golden Era of "Modern Warfare games before Modern Warfare was a thing" Every time a CoD Kid or a wanna be YT channel tells me how CoD 4 invented the Modern Warfare genre i come up with a sophisticated laughter and lecture them which games did that in the early 2000s. So which games did that? Project IGI, Operation Flashpoint, DFBHD, Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2, Ghost Recon 1 and 2, Black aaaaaaaaaaand of course Shadow Ops. And here we are. Finally that (sadly unknown) Action Shooter arrived on Gog. I played it back then in 2004 on the X Box (that version comes with oversensitive controls) and in 2007 i got the PC Version. What is Shadow Ops? It is a fast paced action Shooter in a Modern Warfare Special Forces setting. It comes with all the stuff from its time: Medikits, Crazy Action, a Michael Bay storyline and an unforgiven difficulty. GOG Version and how it aged. The Cutscene look like total trash filmed with a potato (but i dont care, thats how it is with such old games). The visuals are 2004 and still look ok. The controls are spot on and it still plays smooth and fast. Why should you buy it. 1. it is one of the grandfathers of the MW genre and if you like FPS then you should have played it 2. Call yourself a good FPS player because you played the last CoD Games?! How about showing your skill with a real challenge?! 3. Shadow Ops was CoD 4 before CoD 4 even existed. PS: i see a lot of people complaining about the lack of a save function. Come on kids! Grow some balls and practise. The Levels are short and this game is never unfair. Dont blame the game for your lack of skill. Dear Gog! Rainbow Six Rogue Spear Project IGI (No save function and Missions that wont end. I wait for the tears about this one) MAKE IT HAPPEN!
This game..... I played through Project I.G.I. (I still own a copy) and hooray there is a second game.... which is garbage. this game should be renamed: YOU vs. AIMBOTS I know.... this isnt Call of Duty... this is no Ego Shooter.... But it isnt a good game after all and thats the problem. i played almost all stealth and tactics shooters of the last 25 years and i know how such games have to be played. this game is just frustrating trial and error trash. thanks but no thanks. a game that can be skipped.
Visuals: Awful! Mission design: Awful! The AI..... oh man.... is there any kind of AI in that game? I liked to play DF2. And this game is ugly and outdated.... i even like Land Warrior. and Land Warrior is ugly and outdated. BUT THIS GAME... is trash. total garbage. Get DF BHD which is the first really good DF game. AND DONT BUY THIS GAME!!!!

The game is OK. Nothing new but not bad at all. I played it on the 360 back in the days. It was made by RAVEN SOFTWARE and you get what you expect if you´re familiar with this company. I finished it 3 times and i like it. But GOG. GOG please. What are you doing GOG??? 30$ for THAT kind of game. To be honest, if you wanna buy a physical copy, they literally throw this game after you in the stores. And go figure what kind of game i can buy today for 30$. If i would sit in my car right now, drive to the game store and would ask for a copy of singularity, i would pay 6$ for the 360 version. Just saying. GOG Staff should sit down right now and overthink what GOG meant to be in the past. Right now, youre selling a 6 Year old, mediocre game for 30$ which is actually for 20$ at Steam. And btw this game isnt worth 10$.
