When I first bought Return, I didn't expect much from it besides its unique art style and simple combat mechanics. After about thirty minutes in, I had completely fallen in love with the game. The first thing I want to talk about is the spectacular atmosphere. From the music to the visuals, every second of this game looks good. And the music is very relaxing at times since it really plays into being ambient. Another thing that I personally enjoyed was the difficulty. I personally like that items don't respawn in the shop because it adds more skill to how and when you will use them. The game's main challenge are the bosses, and there are quite a few of them. I enjoyed most bosses and there are even some I wish I could replay. The combat in Return is very similar to others, since it mostly revolves around dodging the enemies's attacks. My only two negatives about the game are its price and length. Return goes on sale quite often so its usually around ten dollars. And although it is a short game, (my play through was around five hours) it delivers a great story and world that I will definitely remember.
