It's been a while since i've played DMC saga, but now that it has been released on PC, i can go to the memory lane once again. So far i'm having a blast with the first one (mayeb the second will give me white hair), so once again thanks GOG for another classic gem like this one.
It just one of those games where you want to be delicate and open to explore everything, but the moral bar gives you a hard time, and one step wrong and it's the end of the story. Very unique and captivating, but really hard if you are not used to narrative and exploration.
Bought the game for nostalgia, didn't work well at the beginning, then went to the review section, found a solution, downloaded crysis launcher from github and now it works like a charm, so far. Let's see if this goes well through the entire campaign (Grimmy_Grammy, you are a savior, comrade, many thanks) 4 stars only for now, if everything goes well, i'll return and edit my review
Good story, decent combat mechanics and great landscapes and music. Unfortunately it lacks of diversity on side quests and maybe you can get frustrated with the stage missions, they have none check points and if you loose, you start from the very beginning. Overall, it's a good game.
First time playing this gem, and i gotta say i'm impressed by how good this is. I'm used to playing FPS games like a madman, but with some examples like this one with a good story and decent mechanics, hell, i'm getting addicted to it. GOG is the GOAT. I really hope to see another classics like SIlent Hill or Dino Crisis. But for now, i'm having a good time with this one. (You really must save those ink ribbons, herbs and ammo, guys)
