Only "GOG multiplayer", meaning 11 players on rank ladder on day 1 release. I'm not quite happy with this version so far. Will update my review when cross-platform multi is up.
Younger I was really fond of space shooter, and I played every one I could find: X-Wing series, Wing Commander series, I-war, etc. Among all these games, Freespace 2 shines in my memory and took the first place of my personal ranking. The excellent graphics, the dramatic story, the ship design, the weapons sound, the various missions: everything contributes to build a fantastic atmosphere in this game. If you like spacer shooters, you cannot miss Freespace 1 & 2. By the way it would be better to play the first before the second, to avoid Freespace 1 story spoil. But I fear FS1 won't have as well as FS2...
