dark difficulty and complete misunderstanding of things that make the 1st part great are the main scourge of this game , just throws away gameplay difficulty balance in the toilet, not mentioning using legendary armor in caves,no thought behind this at all, devs just wanted some resemblance with idiotic souls games. No companionship throughout the story either, you always alone, your so called sidekick is the spy and a black ops commander, what affection could you posssibly have towards him, moronic shit. The only things. that saves the game are its unprecedented plot complexity without loss of logic and meticulousness towards every character that you meet in their dialogues and actions , don't get me wrong, you won't care about any of them , it's just gonna be interesting to see this convoluted beautifully looking story to the end.
The plot: the fabula is like all in this sequel based on the original, there is an evil almighty organisation that controlled by immensly dumb people, which have a problem with their new moronic evil plan to use STEM on all people wirelessly))), meanwhile some of their lab rats with twisted imagination for unknown reasons have great powers in new version of matrix, it doesn't matter that the core brain now is innocent and childish and basically can create new version of OZ, changing habitants into bunnies and unicorns ,cause she thinks it's just a dream . Let's talk about that propaganda. Our main hero now become a dumb crying girl ,that needs to be saved and taken care by multitude of bad written brave female red shirts of different nationalities, cause me too and political correctness comes first, now Sebastian is always motivated by them , cause if not , he drowns himself in self pity and can't do nothing about it. What an example for every boy to admire and follow his steps.
I finished this game only once on impossible difficulty. It wasn't worth it at all. Overall gameplay on this difficulty was procedural tedious process: devs lock you up in secluded zone, usually limited to 1 floor basement or yard like territory, and drop on your head variations of their monsters but you can't kill all of them only with firearm or even in beast form cause you suffer from their hits in both forms very harshly and the one you can't kill with usuall weapon pop up only in 1 exepmlar per kind so your power to keep rage from parishing by killing common enemies almost won't help you, it will end before other unkillable monster pops up and you will need to dodge attacks fron new kind of mobs again just to collect enough rage and kill this miniboss and this procedure continues through the whole game . For some reason I didn't get the 3rd special attack for my beast alter ego, while saving everyone but 1 NPC in the end. Bosses were a joke and compare to the original very unimaginative and stupid one ,as a dull and idiotic plot. Also my good ending video was cut abruptly by rhe script and luanched boring credits. PC version doesn't have extra unlockables like PS 2 version so in the end for me it w
