You start small. Very small. With only few options to create something. A 3-stage tutorial tells you everything you gotta know, but believe me: Reus is easy to learn, but hard to master. You terraform the planet, create animals, plants and minerals on the patches of land into which the planet is divided. This attracts settlers. They build villages and special buildings. Every special building needs other things, so you use your 4 giants and their abilities to fulfill these requirements and the villages reward you with ambassadors. These ambassadors unlock new abilities for your giants. And then....you are either totally addicted to this puzzler/godgame like me or not. You have to play game after game after game, each one gives you new developments to unlock and improves your possibilities to form the planet. So: if you are looking for a truly exotic mix of puzzler/godgame with nice graphics and a gameplay that I'm pretty sure is totally unique, buy this game and have a lot of fun with it. If not, you are missing a true indie gem.
Guys, this isn't just a game. It's a piece of art! The story is somewhat confusing, yes, and there are some loose ends that aren't clearly tied up, but who cares? The story is still SO much better than in a lot of high-budget-games. This gem clearly proves that the Indie developers are the coming kings. If you are into psychological, gory horror, you should definitely play The Cat Lady. The story even is a bit philosophical, at some points. And there is the incredible original score, that perfectly blends with all the sinister and bloody pictures. Oh, yes, the graphics are STUNNING. Not in your "CryEngine 3" meanings of stunning: it's handmade, artful, some kind of old-fashioned, reminds me of the days when I played all those wonderful graphic adventures with bitmap graphics, before everything turned to 3D. Story, graphics and music perfectly blend together and form a true masterpiece! A must play for all adult adventure gamers out there!

Well folks, I don't even know where to start. First of all, don't be scared of the manual - you can easily fly this thing with the reference card and a few minutes of training. You can adjust the difficulty just so it fit's your personal skill or your preferences. You like it real hard and realistic? You can have that as well as very easy and arcade-like. Next, the story: the story is great. It's not as epic as the story of Wing Commander II or III, but it will tie you to your chair and won't let you go until you are finished with it! You will command your own mercenary fighter squadron, fly missions all around the globe and do all kinds of missions, which brings us to reason no 3 why everybody should play this: the mission design is great, you get escort missions, search and destroy, bombing runs vs. ground and sea targets, simply everything you ever dreamed of. For all those who already know this game: you will buy it anyway (just like me as soon as I saw it on GOG). For the younger ones who don't know it yet: go buy it!!! This is the best flight sim that was ever made (in my opinion). It's not so complex that you need a Phd. to play it (like Falcon 3.0 or something like that), but it's complex enough that the sim freaks out there will have fun with it. GOG, thank you for this masterpiece! Oh, and now go on and give us Wings of Glory and Pacific Strike, then I will build an altar for you guys and light a candle every day as long as I live ;-)
