just play it already
..and it is amazing! Sure a lot of people are disappointed and there is some valid criticism between the people that couldnt manage their expectations and expected too much. However the Game is great and gameplay overall is fun immersive and smooth. Criticism: 1. PC-Controlls suck a bit... can't use my mousewheel button or extra once.. and can't remap a few keys some aren't even listed in the keybindings 2. My Pc ain't high end but i have a 1060 and a 3800X so GPU wise what was recommended but i only have around 40-45 fps most of the time despite lowering some stuff (which doesn't seem to do much (still looks amazing) 3. Clothign should've been focused on mods for the stats. I don't want to run around in hontpants Bandana and a Kimono because that stuff has the best stats.. 4. a few minor bugs here and there
Same of what Spell Force 3 and Soul harvest already were and that is good, with some pretty cool new mechanics. 1 star less because they started the 10% discount after i bought it on launch day -.- i know it is just 2,50 but which intern messed up putting both life at the same time.....

Great Expansion with a few hours of roughly linear progression with a few moments in which you can explore a bit. Not enough Checkpoints though which can be really frustrating!!
I was on the fence and didn't buy it at launch because i knew it wouldn't run great on my rig and it was an epic exclusive but i saw it on sale here and thought why not and i haven't regreted it one bit!! This is the best entry in the Metro series. Amazing story, great Gameplay and Sounddesign, awesome Soundtrack, gorgeous Graphics and Landscapes with diverse Maps, cool Secrets to uncover and i really like the gunplay! i did encounter a few bugs here and there a few crashes and not the best performance due to my 1060 6gb but still around the 60fps mark so no biggie I also really liked the DLC which i recently bought the only flaw being that Sam's Story has really scarce and arbitrarily set Savepoints which was quite annoying when you had to do the same 5 min section again and again when there coul've been 3 more savepoints in between with no problem!
There are a few good things about this game. For example dialog options and bartering with merchants, food spoilage, seperate inventories for you and your horse to manage, riding is mostly smooth, equipment has noise stats, the story is quite nice. However the list of things that are only there to annoy you because "realism" or whatever is way too long. The combat system is kinda cool for duels though also really clunky there but it is absolutely unfit for combat against multiple oponents which is the most common scenario. Don't even get me started on archery.... Weapon and armor choices are extremely limited and the sword that should be the best (queen of sheba) lacks far behind st. george's sword. Armor looks all the same with minor changes and the ones that do look different ain't worth the stat nerf. There is horse armor but only for the head while the body slot is still there, minor but annoys the hell out of me and cost me quite some time to find out that there definetely is none. Bush collision should not be a thing!! (thanks mods it ain't one for me anymore). You get dirty and your equipment breaks very frequently! Limited saving with an Item that makes you drunk and when you die because you jumped while standing on a steep hill and the game decides to throw you 50m down the hill side?? I can see the intention of wanting to not let you save all the time and try whatever you want till it works but savior schnapps is not the way to go!!! And the list goes on.. There were just too many decisions made to make you feel like your life is terrible and you're the lowest peasent and not some overpowered badass hero which wouldn't be all to bad would those decisions not increase the level of inconvenience so much. Also it's not like they don't allow convenient mechanics to make your experience better like beeing able to call your horse all the time. All in all it seems more like a big Life is Feudal Mod than a full game.
