A great game with a good remaster with modernized controls and touched up graphics. Original game was very solid and good from the start, had some issues like some hitboxes and enemy placements but the game is still very enjoyable, something that held it back a lot in the day was the tank controls, not an issue for kid me, but an issue for many other people and I can understand. This remaster comes with a lot of goodies all packed in the Crocipedia, interviews, remixes, concept art and even a tutorial on a crochet Croc! Only issue I found so far is that the language of the game is tied to the system's language and doesn't offer a way to change it later, hope that gets fixed later. Overall a very good and fun experience which I highly recommend for everyone!
This one is a patched version of the old 2000 PC port of the game, so it works very well, with proper controller support, actual resolution settings, etc. It does cut out certain things like dialogues from Psycho Mantis for obvious reasons, and the default key settings are kinda butt, but it allows rebindings so these are minor issues. Some audio tracks are much lower quality than the original. It's better to play the original PS1 version on an actual console or emulated, but this one is a good option if you don't wanna do all that.
