Master of Orion: Collector's Edition

MOO Beta Review

I readed some of the comments, before I bought it and Im glad, that they didnt scared me away. Many complained the linked Starways System. You cant fly now from everywhere to everywhere. I like this pretty much. I hated it in in MOO/MOO2, when the enemy attacked systems in the back of my territory. Now, Stargates have a benefit too. All in all this system reminds me as it appears in the "Lost Fleet" novells from Jack Campell. Also the Strategic Fleet fights remind me to the novells. Reduceing speed takes time and the Ship fly in curves. But, I never used this System, because it was easier and faster to let the computer calculate win/loss. In oposite to MOO or MOO2 there was no benefit to use this system. Thats why i reduce my rating by a Star. I think this system should be a part of the game. Either it should made better or it should be no option. About the Classes im not sure. I mostly playing Mrrshan. It feels like the negativ "Class" Stats have not that big influence anymore. I can make my final statemant to this matter, not before all classes are included. Let's see if they play different enough... All in All its worth the Buy, not like MOO3!

Shadowrun Returns

Shadowrun Returns

At first this shouldnt be a game, but a Shadowrun Game Editor. So my Rating recognises this. The game plays itself like X-Com with a full Storyline. Personally I dont like, how they handled the magic classes. Thats a bit away from lore.
