Really enjoying this game

Really glad I bought this game, I'm about 5 hours in and it has the type of game play I really enjoy, I like games where I feel like I'm constantly progressing without having to grind, it reminds me a bit of Xenoblad Chronicles, especially with the way quests work. It's also a bit of a collectathon, which I also enjoy. The combat is fun, I really get put off by RPGs that have turn based fighting so the action element really drew me in. There is a lot of content in this game, would highly recommend.

Brilliant Action adventure

Really enjoying this game. I'm 7 hours in at the moment and there is still plenty to do and discover. There is no obvious tutorial but you quickly pick up what does what by pressing buttons (there are also hints on the loading screens). The art style is really nice, I don't have the most up to date computer but it still looks good. I noticed one of the reviews mentioning there is no mini map, however there was one for me, you just have to get to a certain point in the game for it to open up. I bought this on a whim but would highly recommend, especially for the price tag on release! There is a lot more to this game than it first looks. I really hope this game does well for Runic, as I already want a sequel! (It would also make a good game on the switch)

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

Beautiful

I think this is a great short game. It looks absolutely stunning I spent quite a bit of time just admiring the view and wondering how awesome this game would look on Occlus Rift. The game does not guide you, you have to spend a bit of time figuring out what's going on and what you're meant to do, but once it finally clicks everything follows a similar pattern. I enjoyed that the game didn't hold your hand and made you think about what you had to do. Personally I found that I figured stuff out by accident, but the best things are! I think the only downside (very minor!) is that I did come across a couple of glitches that meant some stuff didn't quite work the right way, but this did not take away from the gameplay. Overall I felt the story and look of the game was very interesting and I really enjoyed wandering around the beautiful landscape. It does get mildly creepy at times, but not enough to put you off if you don't like scary games (I hate playing scary games). One thing I really did like is that the mouse was at the right sensitivity, not too fast and not too slow, I'm not sure if this is based on my personal mouse settings, but I did not change any in game sensitivity. Get it!
