It seems like a running theme with GoG games and GoG galaxy to just not put effort on the launcher. The game is good and fun, had no problems. But all of a sudden it won't start since it CTD's at startup. Should've bought the steam version.
Good concept, good idea, good story, dissapointing performance. This game had potential but the truth is it's a huge let down, it's not particularly fun to play since there are just no RTS elements but set pieces to follow. No real strategy and usually just cheese to push the story forward. Some missions are okay but most of them are dull and repetitive.
The game's concept is cool, the characters feel like real people, the setting is amazing and the powers/gimmicks you get are fun. However, the optimization of this game is the trashiest I have ever seen since Borderlands games, crashes due to an overload of effects, frame drops left and right, and worst of all most crashes happen during boss fights. My PC runs Red Dead 2 and Mankind Divided on high settings, there is no reason for this game to be at medium and still having obnoxious crashes.
Honestly the game is cool looking and the story is interesting. However the gameplay is kind of rinse and repeat and it does a really dumb thing in game (giving multiplayer rewards instead of singleplayer rewards). Not even gonna refund it to support CDPR and GoG and the extras are cool but all in all it's really mediocre compared to the CDPR standards.
The atmosphere and lore of the game are really solid. The gameplay is fluid and can be punishing if you want it to be (difficulty modifiers) and all in all add the creepy feeling of a walking sim with the ability of actually being able to fight back or stealth your way. Failable side quests, cool characters, etc. Don't own it on GoG but had to let people know that it's worth buying especially in GoG.
