I've played through this game twice now, and on both occasions I have been emotionally and personally affected; even with an 8 year gap between play sessions. Yes this is a flawed diamond with its own shortcomings. But the depth and strength of the story, the expansive environments, the multiple meaningful choices more than make up for this. This is an intelligent experience, with a great deal of thought, detail and passion used in the crafting. I haven't ever done a review before, and I may even never do again. I'm not even moved to do a review for the very best of games I play. But this is something else, and just so special and unique that I am compelled to say this: Play this game, and may it affect your life forever. You won't regret it. :-)
