A good majority of the levels lack the different mask gimmick of the first game, removing a lot of the variety to approach the first game had. Youll also more than likely encounter multiple game breaking bugs, as I personally got 2 in the span of about an hour (cursor got glitched away from the orbit of the character, and then got glitched in a wall exiting a level). Level design is also a step down, with countless of screen ranged enemies that result in the player dying in unfair ways, and consequently causing them to play slower, which is antithetical to the games fast paced action. Just generally a step down from the first, Although i will say the story is about as interesting as the first, so if youre into that, it may be worth slogging through.
The world building and effort put into this (from what I've actually been able to see) is oustanding. levels are highly detailed, new enemies and factions are interesting and unique. Unfortunately, constant crashes makes this practically nonfunctional. If they manage to solve that problem though, this is unironically one of the best pieces of fallout media in the past decade.
