This is definitely a classic title and for its original time, it must have been groundbreaking. But its not exactly my cup of tea. I prefer more the doom style of gameplay in case of boomer shooters (heavy metal ost and more fast paced) :)
Severance Blade of Darkness has, on the gameplay side, aged pretty well. The combat is fun and also challenging. But story and level layout are less engaging. If you can overlook such weaknesses, its worth it, even today :)
... ein paar echt fiese "trial and error" Stellen, die man hätte ruhig noch etwas ausbügeln können. Im Großen und Ganzen aber topp Titel. Auch 2024 noch. Bin gespannt auf Teil 3 :) Wer den Erstling schon mochte, macht hier definitiv nichts verkehrt :)
