Worth the effort.
The vanilla game is ridiculously addictive. You can get really attached to the characters. The battles are lethal. The embarrassment of getting killed by a rabid squirrel is real. The mods double any enjoyment. Many genres are covered (Stargate, star wars, etc) Had this game on steam for years with more than 800 hours. Perfect for a YouTube play-through because it writes its own story and people WILL laugh at your mistakes.
