Cyberpunk 2077

Amazing game

We all know Cyberpunk had a rough launch, but this is hands down one of the greatest games ever made. It's beautiful, it's got a gripping story, the bugs are gone and all the updates have brought new life and fun into both combat mechanics and hacking. If you haven't tried it due to the bad launch, don't cheat yourself out of one of the greatest gaming experiences there is out there.

GWENT: The Witcher Card Game

Great game!

Great card game, lots of fun. No longer in development, but that just means never need to buy card packs. It's like having a feature complete card game without the constant harrassment of having to buy new cards to keep up. There's a balance council that lets players vote on balancing changes, which means we do get some new viable decks each season, even though there are no new cards.

Cyberpunk 2077

Equal parts fantastic, and frustrating.

Let me prefice my review by saying that I used to play the pen and paper Cyberpunk2020 RPG, and have been very interested in CP2077 since I first heard about its development in 2013. I feel that CDPR mostly achieved what I had hoped this game would be. They built a fantastic Night City They told a great story They supplied a wealth of character driven side jobs, some of which tie into your main story quite well They provided a staggering amount of minor side gigs, jobs and NPC interactions. I would have liked to see more character customization. The wealth of clothes that you can put on V are nice, but since clothes and armor rating are tied to each other, any playthrough on higher than normal difficulty is going to mean you'll look like a hobo most of the game. Would also have been nice with a wider range of cybernetic cosmetics. Why can't I make V look like a Maelstrom ganger if that's what I want? On the topic of bugs, you don't need me to tell you that the game them, but from having played a little over 120 hours now, I can safely say that on PC, none of them have been game breaking. I do feel that there are too many for a tripple A title that has been so long in development, but at the same time I also appreciate that CDPR overreached a little rather than play it super safe. The bugs will be fixed in time, and then we will have a candidate for game of the decade on our hands.
