I'll cut straight to the chase: Cannon Fodder 2 is a great fun, albeit pretty difficult game, so my two star rating is not reflective of theactual game itself but rather the way it runs on Mac OSX. I recently re-purchased both Cannon Fodder titles, neither of which I'd played since they originally released on the Amiga in 1993 and 1994 respectively. I've enjoyed playing them both again, but have experienced significant technical issues with Cannon Fodder 2 when playing on Mac OSX, ranging from a choppy framerate and control lag to a game-breaking progression bug. I'm currently unable to progress beyond mission 9, as when I complete the final phase the graphics corrupt and the game becomes unresponsive; I can hear the music playing in the background but that's it, nothing else happens, requiring a force-quit of the game. This has happened twice in a row now, even after restarting the game, and with mission 9 being such a long and frustrating slog to complete I have no inclination to boot the game up again. Suffice to say I'm pretty disappointed.
