Tried this a couple of months ago to try it again and with no mods, gaming MSI laptop, Win 10 native 2560x1600 resolution with plenty of RAM and processing power. I have no idea how to continue past the tutorial. I managed to play it no problem years ago unless who ever had the bright idea from what I have read that they added in a patch, just because. Anyone out there please help fix this or if anyone could message me to help, I would be grateful. Thank you.
This game just oozes the setting of Warhammer 40,000 perfectly with grim scenes with the Chaos faction as well as bringing the Space Marines to feel more "human" instead of the sterotypical emotionless soldiers. Too me a bit to get back into the swing of things control wise and honestly I really wish just like with HOMM3 that the cammera could be set or at least could be configured to WASD/custom setup. Other than that I regret nothing.
Fun car battle game. Does it look like a mobile game, yeah. Does that take away the charm and fun, no. It is tough if you act like a rookie and use up all your driver bar so it is like a cat and mouse game. The sound effects are great and I enjoy the whole vibe of it especially if you are a fan of Death Race and Mad Max type stuff.
Love the dad humor which I think this game is geared towards. Do not underestimate the battles as you can get killed quickly if you get careless. Cow Puncher currently for first playthrough not sure about Beanwizard on what they do but the Snake Oil class I believe comes with a little snake buddy. lol BTW Do not let the name Cow Puncher botther you.... these demonic cows show no mercy. Let your every blow (fist punch) be a prayer for Mankind
It might take a couple of times to complete missions it is a lot of fun to build a fortress and create large armies to go to battle with. If you became frustrated with They Are Billions at the seemingly suspicious way a single zombie can get near a camp and thus cause a game over even with a fully bought copy (the games copy protection is meant to screw over the player just as I described).... Then this is the game for you ^_^
Even under low settings and VSync this game cooks my computer. Got a MSI Raider GE78HX 13VH with 32 GB of ram, M.2 2 TB hard drive, I9 13th Gen and a 4080 Nvidia graphics card..... this is ridiculous. Hope others are farring better.
To those who get discouraged about making progress (longest time was day 22) there is so much to this game that it should be enjoyed instead of causing frustration because at the end of the day its just you, your mercs and the opportunites you can make. Keep playing and it will click. Get all the DLCs if you can as they are worth it.
Support Aspyr by getting this game so the rights get taken from Crystal Dynamics so they can go to a group like Aspyr who will do justice to these games. Nothing is worse than a company that hates their own fans especially when the fans want to support devs when they make great games. The original 3 Tomb Raider games are great and I am very glad to be able to play them in a working order as compared to the broken mess the first set of TR games 1-3 are. Just started this morning and it was so much fun to have this caliber of exploration game in working order. And also getting an expansion for each game that frankly unless they are a die hard fan they knew nothing about it this is such a great price for the content. So glad I got this.
It is not GoG's fault for the state of these titles as it is Crystal Dynamics who are the one's that is responsible for the state of this game. The remaster is not made by Crystal Dynamics but another group who are actual fans. Disregard the one time "trigger warning" from Crystal Dynamics at the start of the Remaster as they hate the beloved franchise they made. Please support companies that care about their fans. Thank you.
From reading the reviews I am not buying this game. I really wanted to as the Hitman series is awesome. Please do not let this be a trend. GOG is why I left Steam and I wish I could buy all the stuff I have there to here, not transfer but actually buy it as I want GOG to be successful. I do not wish to sound dramatic, but as an archivist DRM and always online are gateways to media getting deleted and forgotten.
