Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Enhanced Plus Edition

Great game with a lot of micromanagement

Very immersive, well written, very detailed mechanics, and practically unlimited character build options. Difficulty seems fine to play on normal settings. Most, if not all situations that are out of balance can be avoided and postponed or overcome with specific tactics, at least for the first quarter of the game (that's all I've played). The kingdom aspect of it is interesting so far. I'm in constant need of B(uilding) P(oints) to improve my towns, expand territory, claim "resources", and many other minor actions. Meanwhile my kingdom is ever beset by problems which require BP to remediate, and the ability to increase BP generation requires of course, tons of BP...so hopefully it's supposed to be a slow build or I'm just very bad at the game or both. I was a big fan of Birthright: Gorgon's Alliance and so far this is much more of an isometric TB/RTS/RPG - which is impressive and well done, but it isn't a map style, RISK-like, experience. My biggest gripe is navigating certain maps repeatedly is tiresome, there's no mini map or warp zone or trade route and scrolling is slow. No quick-leave option on maps, you have to manually set your character to go to the exit and then hit the exit button once they get there. And then a loading screen. A relatively trivial complaint, but it does get tedious, especially since all the things you should be doing require close management as well. Runs well enough on my rather old and weak PC. Often crashes after I quit, but has no impact on the save.
