Just finished Neighbour from hell and needed another dose. I thought I'd find my deal with this game but it's not as good. They throw everything at you from the beginning so I didn't get to appreciate every ghosts but just put them in ''scare'' mode then watch people flee. It's not very fun to me.
Had a great time with that game. The action flow is fast, the level design totally wicked and the character control is very dynamic and responsive. Not to mention that very weird humour I am very addicted to now. This reminds me of an era where you did not have enough power not to focus strictly on crazy gameplay. You just don't see that stuff anymore.
I had a grrrreat time with that game, lots of laugh, loved the stealth approach, funny door gameplay, stress of infiltrating someone else's house, intuitivity and everything. Marvelous game! really I have nothing to complain exept that it is really short. The sequel tho shattered my expectations. What's stressful about being in a vacation resort? Always the same 4 zones levels, so much detail in the environment you'll have a hard time figuring out what's interactive. No more sneaking gameplay. I would have expected gameplay in the neighbour's backyard, attic, garage,... I dunno there was so much to exploit from such a concept. Now you're just some inmate obsessed with his neighbour to the point of following him on a boat to exotic location. You've gone from a wicked trickster to a very weird guy.
