The game backgrounds and soundtrack are really fantastic. However, as a game it is very bare-bones, it feels really mobile game like. It doesn't really feel rhythm based either necessarily. The collectables on the track just feel kinda random, not properly in sync with the music. There's not too much going on, the vehicles are pretty samey and it will get really repetitive fast. Ability to play to your own music is really nice touch though. Game doesn't support FLAC files but MP3s work without problem. The game could be really cool with some additions or updates.
First off the atmosphere is the main selling point of this game for me. I personally feel that there are influences from people like Henry Selick, Tim Burton and even Hayao Miyazaki. The mix of being kinda childish yet dark and horror inspired is really cool. The music and soundscape really fits the world that they created for this game. Short but sweet. The game is somewhat short but it's quality that matters. It's one of those games that you can re-visit because it doesn't take you over 40 hours to play through.
If you are a fan of point and click games this is a fantastic and fun game. Some purists might find the artstyle too modern and simplistic but id say unless it REALLY bothers you, you'll get used to it quickly and even find some charm in it. But that is just the visual part anyway. The gameplay and humor are there absolutely. The game is somewhat lenghty aswell so you won't be able to rush through it in like 30 minutes. Bottom line, it is really good game for the lovers of the genre.
