13 years since the release of Game Dev Tycoon, the game that understood very early how to merge fun, management and good progression. There is a bit of GDT in this game, as I have 100+ hours on it, and The Executive pushes it a bit forward. It's like a Game Dev Tycoon that understood its own mistakes, everything that was frustrating in GDT is fixed here. Definitely a go-to for newcomers in this genre.
