I still have the boxed version of this game and play it periodically - I've now bought the GOG edition as they've tweaked it a touch. It works beautifully on a netbook under Windows 7 and that's worth it alone! This is the best scripted, most emotionally moving RPG ever made. Yes, there are many others out there that look prettier but they can't hold a candle to this one. If you're looking for a rich, story driven game where the story leads you on then you honestly can't do any better.
I still have the original of this game but it's well worth buying again for the lack of hassle getting it to run after the GOG team have had a crack at it. I still rate this as my favourite RTS of all time and believe that it's one of the best ever made. If you're after a strategy game that offers a rich, varied experience then look no further - just buy it now!
