This is definitely the verion of Dragon Age Origins to play for sure. Its characters have depth, are memorable, the story dark and full of decisions to make which have an impact. If you enjoy games like Kingmaker or Pilars of Eternity, then this is by far the best Dragon Age game to play. But there is an issue or two... When Starting the game from GOG's play button, the game's original config window will open, rather than directly starting the game. This was the game's original "play" button window. But pressing any key, including "play", will cause the window to close and the game won't start. Here is the work around. open the game folder and find the executable. Create a short cut. Move shortcut to desktop. Start the game from the shortcut and it will run. The downside with the GOG version is that if you are planning to use vortex, vortex won't be able to run the game and probably will not unti GOG fixes, unless you have a work around for that. Sad thing is, if EA App can overide the original start/config window that won't run the game. why can't GOG?
