You can set this to the easiest setting to try to learn, and the AI still starts with way more units than you can get even if you're getting every upgrade as soon as you can. Is this salt talking? Yes, but I don't care. There's no passive training, and you have to trudge back to unit houses to refill. The one star is the great sprites, but otherwise not a fun strategy game.
The game is very pretty, and while the platforming is a bit finicky its fun. But dear lord the fact the map is pretty much useless in telling me where I am, and the slimes can chain fill you to death with really bad hurtboxes is really bad. If slimes took more damage from fire it would at least make them easier to deal with.
The sound is a bit off in the opening sandstreamer sections with some glitching, and you can't really window the game or exit the game without ALt+F4. But it's so great to be able to play this game again, as rough as its aged but its so classic. Its a great game that's a little aged in looks and some mechanics, but I recommend it!
