Take it from someone who never really got into these photography games, I've REALLY enjoyed myself. And no, it's just because of the, ehem, wildlife, the fact that there's also a bit of a mystery and open world (I can't wait for the full game map) exploration really did it in for me. The audio logs? Peak. Having voice acting really adds lot to the experience. And, the sense of humour is right up my alley, finding animals dancing the macarena out in the wild was a pleasant surprise. As for what could be improved... well, I guess my main "why is it like this?" thing is that you cannot run and jump at the same time, which is odd,
