Took 6 hours to figure out that HBAO breaks it and that VRAM usage is astronomical, leading mostly to crashes for the vast majority trying to play it. I really tried to give it a chance but when you get gnarly stutters and the game is only using single digit percentages of you CPU and GPU, you know they've lost the plot. A promising story, ruined by arbitrarily slapping 300 of other people's mods on it. The stutters just get worse the more I play. Thameshaven is a great example of trying to put 10lbs of texture in a 5lb bag. Never going to make it through 90 hours at this rate. Simply giving us a heads up not to use HBAO and letting us know that FOLON uses 50% more VRAM than FO4 for a given setting would have ensured a successful launch and saved 6 hours of my time. But instead it seems like most people who have installed FOLON haven't actually managed to play any of it. Don't tell me this mod is free. No such thing.
