Quite the overrated trilogy on this website. The first game is actually quite decent, fun puzzles, interesting graphics, overall a nice little experienced with only a couple of badly designed puzzles here and there which might annoy you a bit. The second game, oh boy, the second game is utter trash. And actually one of the worst games I ever played. The puzzles make absolutely no sense and have zero connection to anything one might describe as logical reality, sense of causality, or even the slightest spark of game-design insight. For example, one puzzle requires you find a rope, take a valve, then "combine" the rope with the valve and throw it on a ladder so the ladder somehow falls over towards you perfectly. The reason for this? So you can avoid some water, water you just simply swim in later in the game. It's just a massive waste of time. They also managed to completely fuck up the clicking in the game. To move a box or really solve most of the puzzles you need to click on a very specific area on an object, regardless whether it makes any sense for that specific area to have any different effect. For example, there is a part of the game where you need to move a box, now if you simply scroll over the box, nothing will happen, you have to specifically scroll over the CORNER of the box for your cursor to change into an action. They just completely fucked it up. Story is good tho, and the ending is satisfying. Only redeeming thing, it's not enough. The third game is apparently good... too bad it doesn't work. Doesn't seem to be WIndows 10 compatible so it glitches out right at the start and then runs at a fantastic 1 fps. Great experience. 2 stars for the first games, everything else is really bad.

Decent, yet highly overrated game. By today's standards, this game is simply okay. Essentially the only thing you do is some light planet management and then design ships and attack other species. If you enjoy designing ships and waging turn-based war, give it a try, but it's nothing spectacular and certainly not a masterpiece. If you play it for the first now.
