This game terrified me as 9 year old in 1997. I would only play it in the daytime and with someone else in the room. As as an adult the game still manages to give you a sense of dread and foreboding. The music, the tight camera angles, the sparse but effective jump scares, they all still feel just as great as they did when it was brand new. This game is a masterpiece, a classic, whatever you want to call it.
