Octodad: Dadliest Catch

A Fun But Frustrating Game

Octodad provided one of the most interesting experience when it came to games, being a boneless ragdoll. This game was a fun little concept that I've never seen or played with an adorable story added in to keep you going. The world, if I had to explain it, was like an episode of Jimmy Neutron except without the boy genius or inventions and you play the clutsy dad. You play an octopus which you have to stretch your arms and legs haphazardly without humans and your family noticing anything odd about you. The main game was short but you also get to play a couple of short games to add more game time into it. It's a nice game with little to no intensity or rush, just a chill game you can play instead of heavy competitive games online. Would suggest waiting till it comes out on discount before purchasing but well worth a try. I also suggest that before you purchase that you have a controller as trying to do this with keyboard and mouse would be pure hell. Pros: - Interesting gameplay and cute characters - Comedic moments - Does have extra content Cons: - A bit short for asking price, can complete the main story and short stories in 4.5 hours - Wish there was more challenges in the game - Can be frustrating but that's part of the fun Enjoy!!

On Rusty Trails

Great Platform Game!

If your like me who loves indie platformer games mixed with some puzzle play then you'll definitely enjoy this. Quick, simple and challenging all in one. The graphics, the characters, the story unfolding around the characters and the gameplay are excellent. The downside is the shortness of the game with no additional content except for the art and the digital comic, but besides the shortness it is well worth your time. Pros - Great graphics, characters, and background story of the world - Challenging levels and puzzles Cons - Short, completed the game in 6.5 hours (not in one sitting of course) - No extra content to the game but you do get artwork and the digital comic Hope this helps. Enjoy!!

Broforce

AMAZING GAME, BRO!!

Warning: Some Spoilers! Broforce is one of funnest games I’ve had the pleasure of playing in a long time! Not only is it a tribute to all the platform run & gun games of the past and the animated cartoon G.I. Joes, it also has many references of your favorite action heroes that any true movie go’er would enjoy! The game isn’t complex so anyone can jump right in and play while still having intense and challenging fire fights and boss battles that keep you on your toes. The campaign levels provide enough of a challenge that you’ll be satisfied for hours of gameplay. Fair warning to all who are about to play this, you will have nagging need to say “BRO!” to anyone you meet. Pro’s - Excellent gameplay - Intense and challenging fights with scores of enemies and Bosses - Great art and small but enjoyable story - Characters and enemies are well thought out from their strengths and weaknesses - Nostalgic feelings from the characters to the gameplay as each are a reference to an action movie or the old G.I. Joes cartoon and Contra style games - You will enjoy the different ways you can kill your foes, also the comedic ways your foes will kill each other by accident, and how you will die by accident when you thought you were away from the ‘fireworks’ - Solid 13 to 14+ hours from just single player alone plus the many hours you’ll spend trying to complete the Ironbro challenge! - If you are a fan of Cuphead I recommend this game to play next - Intense need to say “BRO!” Cons: - You can’t choose your characters so you’re going to have to learn each characters limitations (strength and weaknesses) to get through the level and bosses. This can be a pain but it’s also a pro as it adds fun to the challenge. - You’ll wish there was more levels to play after you beat it, it’s so fun you really wish it didn’t end. - Bosses, campaign and covert levels can be frustrating but keep at it, BRO! Looking forward to a sequel!!

Stick it to the Man!

Good, interesting, enjoyable, but short

Stick it to the Man is a very enjoyable game, interesting direction, art, characters while following good ol' fashion platformer, point & click, puzzle gaming. It feels like your in a childrens pop up book/ graphic novel which was a unique experience that I never played before. The game is fun, good puzzles, not to challenging except for annoying enemy challenges that have some agitation, the art is well done, the concept enjoyable, and the characters and dialogue will put a smile on your face. The bad news is it is short, I mean very short for the price it's asking. There is no side quests, no extras after the game ends, just a straight forward game. I finished the game in six hours, not in one sitting but finishing the game in six hours after you paid $14.99 is not a good investment. So for all who are reading this I suggest putting this game in your watch list and wait for it to be put on discount. It is a good game folks, one that you will enjoy if you need a pick me up when multiplayer or complex games are too frustrating. Just not at $14.99. I would give it a 3.5 but a 4 is fine. Hope this helps. Pros & Cons: Pros: -Art -Characters -Story -Not to complex -Straight forward Cons: -Short -Price is too high -Lack of major challenge -No extras
