I got the game. Turns out it wasn't made to support mods. That is like the best part of these games. I'm glad it was only 10 bucks and not 40. I added the bInvalidateOlderFiles 1 to the ini file. The only mod that is working is a companion mod. I'm using MO2. This doesn't surprise me as a game coming from bugthesda though. Not fun....
I bought SE awhile back. Tonight I bought the AE upgrade...and it can't find my SE install...it's on the same drive... I even put the install file and the bin file in the SE folder and it still could not find my SE install. I went to tech support... it is WORTHLESS! No help at all. I went to the refund page and all it did was flicker... I have bought 13 games from GoG and not once have I ever been able to interact with a human being...
I have had space engine for about 3 months now. I have never seen any animated objects as they show on the page. I have seen videos on youtube that show animated planets... black holes. Mine are static? Is there an update that maybe I missed? I have downloaded all the extra hi res textures. My GPU is a 3060 12 gig running with and i7 and 32 gigs of ram. Tech support from gog is useless. It is a tech bot. Thanks for any help and happy space exploring :)
