I played all these games as a kid — back then they were amazing. War of the Lance especially was a one-of-a-kind experience for its time. I've had this collection on my wishlist for over a year now, just waiting for a reasonable price — something around 1 €. The current price of 9.75 € (even with 50% off) is unbelievable and still far too expensive for what is essentially a collector’s curiosity with no real modern value.
It makes me very sad that this great game suffers because people review port and not the game. One of the best games ever made. It has little problems with not so intuitive UI, but everything else is absolute masterpiece. Turn based, RTS combo open world management game with RPG elements, crime sim. Nothing never came close to it in the genre. There are ways to make this game work on any Windows OS, although some will and patience is required.
