I put a lot of time into Hitman 2016 when it released. It's a fantastic stealth game, looks amazing and plays great. One of my favorite games of that year. Don't buy it though. Its mandatory always-online requirements (alongside going against what GOG uses to differentiate itself from other storefronts) are a noose around the franchises's neck, one that developer IO Interative repeatedly ignore in favour of smug commentary about how they totally have a plan for the servers in the event of a shutdown. I love the modern Hitman games. But I can't recommend them entirely thanks to that policy.
