Sacred 2 is a bit off the beaten path for loot quest RPGs. There's no random dungeons, instead a massive, hand made open world. Character building is complex, and unsually requires careful balancing, as you can freely power up your skills to do huge damage, at the cost of greatly increasing the cooldown. As you level, you can put points intl skills that lower your cooldowns, allowing you to advance the ability further, but abilities in a group also all have common cooldown, so you are rewarded for branching out. It's a very complex, very cool system with a lot of flexibility; even if two characters use exactly the same skills, they may play very differently. Also it somehow still looks utterly gorgeous. Not sure how a 17 year old game pulls that off.
